Two brothers from a family of Aloxe Corton winegrowers, passionate about gastronomy, wine and terroir, decided to combine their skills in order to offer the wines they had dreamed of for a long time. They founded the Chapuis Frères house in the heart of the village of Pommard in 2009.
Grape variety Aligoté - Dry white wine - 75 cl bottle - Bourgogne Aligoté appellation - Can be kept until 2022 - Serve at 12 °
Tasting: The color is straw yellow, shiny. The nose smells of spring, between hawthorn and buttercup, with a zest of lemon, a hint of acacia honey and a hint of damp chalk. The palate is round, delicious, with pulpy / crunchy flesh, with the impression of biting into an apple. The feeling of freshness is reinforced by a dash of carbon dioxide. The fruitiness competes with the mineral, with a side "pebble juice" which is more reminiscent of a maccabeu than an aligoté. The finish rises a notch in intensity, letting an explosive (or splashing?) Freshness express, underlined by fine bitter / astringent notes (chalk, pomelo) which persist for quite a long time.
